Green Toy Collecting

Petition Calling Toy Manufacturers To Make Toy Instructions Digital

Petition can be found here

The internet is everywhere. Toy makers, please stop wasting the paper by adding long pages of instructions that can be easily accessed online or via an app. If it's regulation, then perhaps it can be swayed in favor of environmental best practices. Adding a QR code, or a database online can simply solve this.

Hasbro, Lego, Takara Tomy, Mattel. All of you if this can be done, we'd like to see it implemented.

Thank you

9 Simple Ideas For Green Toy Collecting

"We love collecting and we love toys. But our love for Earth surpasses all."

Toy collecting can produce much waste. Most of the toys we collect today are made of plastic. Whether they're Marvel, Star Wars, or Transformers, plastic is a huge environmental problem. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a threat to humanity and it is almost all plastic. There are more patches and calling them patches is an understatement. Although toys are not the majority of the waste, it is still a great idea to introduce a more environmental culture to toy collecting. We understand the value of collecting and love the hobby, no judgement here. We are trying to introduce responsibility and best environmental practices to the community. This can be by reducing the plastic and paper footprint.

So here are 9 simple ways to help guide you on the path of being a Green Toy Collector! (no specific order)

Green Toy Collecting: Character Selection Decision

"For every action , there is an equal and opposite reaction....and I am the reaction"                                                                                                                                                                   Nemesis Prime

I think the quote above is something that Nemesis Prime would say to Optimus.

As part of my initiative to go Green and erase the fat from my collection. I have made the ultimate decision. I have chosen one single Transformers figure to collect. It was a very tough choice.

The character is: Nemesis Prime

The figure is this one awesome Decepticon:
Transformers Generations Legends Nemesis Prime and Spinister

This will hopefully be my first figure in the "2 figure rule". Where I only collect 2 figures. (I'm counting Nemesis and Spinister as one). The next figure would probably be an Mp10b Black Convoy, but that will take a really long time to get, as it is simply too expensive at the a moment.

I'd love to…

If you've seen this video, it's cool. If not , it's also cool. It's not about who saw it first. It's about what it means and what the message is conveying.
